Catherine was suffering from recurrent nightmares and chronic anxiety attacks. When his traditional methods of therapy failed,Dr Weiss turned to hypnosis and was astonished and sceptical when Catherine began recalling her past-life traumas which seemed to hold the key to her problems.

3. The Notebook: If you love romantic movies or just the idea of love this one is for you. Noah has just returned from World War-2. Attempting to escape the ghosts of battle,he decides to restore an old plantation home. He is haunted by memories of a girl he met there fourteen years ago,a girl who captured his heart like no other. What happens when his memories become reality and the lost passion is ignited once again?

4. Venus Envy: If you are a person who gossips you will definitely like this one! A little light reading. At twenty-seven, Alex Wilde feels like her life is going nowhere. She’s stuck in a dead-end job and her relationship history is a tale of woe. What’s more, she’s put on a few pounds lately!! Sharing a house with three gorgeous girls doesn’t help. 5. A Thousand Splendid Suns: This one is for sure heavy reading,but is totally worth it. It takes on you on a roller coaster ride of emotions.Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss and by fate,and how their decisions shape future generations.

6. The Da Vinci Code: A thriller novel which really keeps you equipped till the end. An ingenious code hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci. A desperate race through the cathedrals and castles of Europe. An astonishing truth concealed for centuries unveiled at last!

7. The Alchemist: If you are searching for some inspiration then this one is for you. It is an allegorical novel that traces the journey of a young Andalusian shepherd, Santiago, to Egypt to find a treasure and ultimately to his enlightenment.

8. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower: If you love a high-school drama this one is for you. It is a coming of age novel. It is a story about what it's like to travel that strange course through the uncharted territory of high school. A world of first dates, family drama and new friends of sex,drugs and the rocky horror picture show of those wild and poignant roller coaster days knows as growing up.

9. The Diary Of A Young Girl: If you like or love history then you should make this one your first novel. It is a compilation of diary writings of Annie Frank, a girl who had to resort to hiding along with her family because of the Nazi occupation.In 1942, with Nazis occupying Holland, a thirteen-year-old Jewish girl and her family fled their home in Amsterdam and went into hiding. For the next two years, until their whereabouts were betrayed to the Gestapo, they and another family lived cloistered in the "Secret Annexe" of an old office building. Cut off from the outside world, they faced hunger, boredom, the constant cruelties of living in confined quarters, and the ever-present threat of discovery and death.

10. Wings Of Fire: Every common man who by his sheer grit and hard work achieves success should share his story with the rest for they may find inspiration and strength to go on, in his story. The 'Wings of Fire' is one such autobiography by visionary scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who from very humble beginnings rose to be the President of India. The book is full of insights, personal moments and life experiences of Dr. Kalam.
