Best Cafes in Delhi,2018

With each year passing by so quickly we couldn't possibly keep a track of all the lovely places we've been to and wouldn't really expect our viewers to either. So here is a quick recap (in no particular order) of all the cafes and/ or restaurants we've been to that we would like others to know about, too.

  1. Civil House :Located in the lanes of Khan Market is this place popular for it's amazing range of wine, and we absolutely loved the time we spent here on a Sunday afternoon overlooking the lanes of Khan Market. Click here to read the full review  Zomato page
  2. Imperfecto RuinPub : More than anything, I think the reason to visit this place is for it's decor. It is quite huge with the concept being that everything is ruined over there but to us it seemed more Halloween themed than ruined. There are chairs turned, toilet seats as chairs on some tables, tables with lady legs as stands and lots more. They even have a deserted playground to give a spooky feel. Zomato page
  3. Sambookas : Amazing place for casual dining, with pretty decor to get photographs clicked and even a swing on the outside. Click here to read the full review  Zomato page
  4. Threads Cafe :The inspiration for this cafe is that the owners wanted to create a place where people can relax, shop and eat at the same place. Hence, it's a cafe cum boutique.
With a lot of couples coming in, the partner usually gets bored but if there is something which keeps the male partner happy is food, hence he'll be more helpful towards shopping .
Threads means the binding the weaving of delicious food and designer clothes. Zomato page
  5. The Drunken Botanist : From the entrance to the interiors, the decor is so gorgeous especially after sundown. The menu has very quirky names so it might take you a while to order. It's a beautiful place to spend your time. Zomato page
  6. The Imperial Spice : Located in the heart of Delhi, is this place which has a seating for a hundred guests and a beautiful ambience. We absolutely enjoyed being there, and the food wasn't disappointing at all. Zomato page
  7. SodaBottleOpenerWala : Bringing the vibe of Amchi Mumbai to Saddi Dilli, you have to visit this place for it's cuisine and especially try out their,"khade chammach ki chai" (for which they even have a competition).Zomato page
  8. Burma Burma : For an amazing tea time, and a new cuisine, visit Burma Burma. They serve tea with cheese sticks, sunflower seeds, and a sand clock to let you know when the tea is ready to be served,i.e, when it's brewed. Zomato page
  9. Kunzum Travel Cafe :How often do you want to just go and sit somewhere(not some park or cafe)and do whatever you want? You can simply go visit this place to read a book,do your work or maybe catch up with a friend. There are even art and craft supplies available if you want to work on your artistic side. Only coffee and tea are available here along with some biscuits and you can pay any amount you like in a wooden box right next to the main door (no one will judge you for how much you pay but please be decent). There is a volunteer present who'll make coffee/tea for you, you'll be provided with sugar and milk powder so that you can add it according to your taste. Zomato page
  10. Rustique :They have a great space, even have a beautiful outdoor seating. It was raining when we went so it was all the more beautiful and cozy for us. This is a definite go-to place for us , just for a lunch in the winter sun or a date in the winter cold. Zomato page
  11. Music and Mountains : Cozy, insta-worthy, and an absolute hidden gem in the market of Greater Kailash. Zomato page
  12. L'Opera Salon De The :Another hidden gem. Located inside the Bikaner House, you may have to ask around to reach it as it's on the backside. The decor and ambience of this place is amazing. It's quite soothing. It's a place where one can go on a warm winter afternoon and have some coffee with desert and just sit and relax, or even on a cold winter evening for a date. Zomato page
  13. Dum Maro Dum : It is a high spirited lounge, serving food and liquor at an affordable price. It is definitely a front runner amidst a number of cafes located at Hudson lane.  Zomato page
  14. Cha Bar (Kamla Nagar) : This outlet is situated opposite Hansraj college. We have been here a couple of times now. It's a spacious outlet and doesn't have the same seating problems like the other outlet at Connaught Place so that's a huge relief and a plus point. The service is quick, and staff is friendly, and their reputation of a variety of tea precedes them.Zomato page
  15. Deli Bombay : Located amidst the hustle and bustle of the community centre of New Friends Colony is DeliBombay. It has outdoor seating, and is one of our go-to places. All the food we had here was good, so you won't here any complaint from our side. Zomato page
  16. Cafe Red : It took us quite a while to find this cafe because it's hidden in the lanes of Shahpur Jat, but it is a nice cafe. There are games and books for everyone. There is outdoor seating as well, but I must say the outdoor seating is not quite developed. We've been here a number of times, just spending time with our friends while playing games and the experience has always been fun. Zomato page
