HEALTHIER SKIN? YES,PLEASE!

We all want to have the best of both worlds,right?On one hand,we can't resist those burgers and shakes and on the other hand we  envy that other girl when we see her flawless skin. We dream about having healthy skin, No pimple drama, no crying in front of the mirror every morning looking at your reflection.

Well guess what? We at Sky ain't the limit have some tried and tested things for healthy skin just for you! Since we have tested these things on us we know they work and do wonders so don't hesitate to try them out.

1. WATER- We know you have heard it a zillion times that you need to drink water to keep your skin healthy but here is how you should start. Start by drinking one glass of water daily and we mean a glass not directly from the bottle! (If you already drink one glass of water daily start with two). Do this for a week and then increase the number by 1,i.e, start drinking two glasses of water.
PS- We started noticing the change in our skin within a week since we barely used to drink any water at all!

2. ALOE VERA GEL- Acne problems? We have a solution for you. Either scoop it out directly from the aloe vera leaves or buy it from the supermarket (prefer your own leaves). Apply the gel directly on your skin and massage it a little. Leave till it dries. Apply atleast twice a week for results. 
For even better results mix the aloe vera gel with crushed mint leaves.

3. MILK- In ancient times,princesses used to bathe in milk because milk gives skin soft and glowing skin. Don't worry we are not suggesting a bath in milk rather apply a mixture of a handful of pink lentil/lentil dal (masoor dal) and half a cup of milk. It will take time to dry and stick to your skin and some of it will keep falling off so you need to have patience but the results are good. After it dries on your face leave it for 40 minutes.

4. COCONUT WATER- Hands down,this one is one our favourites! Regular consumption of a glass of coconut water gives a better textured skin.Believe us it is one of the secrets to Kareena Kapoors's skin as well.It detoxifies the germs that our skin is probably exposed to after all those aerated drinks.Well a word of caution: Do not drink packaged coconut water,drink it directly from the coconut which a regular vendor sells.
Added Benefit: Reduces Belly Fat,if consumed regularly.



5. GREEN TEA-  It makes skin elastic,smooth and glowing. Drink it daily at one particular time of the day because that's how your body adjusts to the mechanism of it.Squeeze a little lemon in it to give the tea's antioxidants a boost so they remain in and benefit the body longer rather than getting digested quickly.

6. KIWI- It keeps the skin taught and smooths fine lines. Eat a kiwi a day for good results. This little fruit packs a wallop of Vitamin C- almost 120% of your daily requirement in a medium sized kiwi.

P.S : Totally for all the girls out there with the slightest bit of aggression for their skin but too lazy to eat those heavy antibiotics and apply anti acne creams.
